The S&P 500 Index opened up 58.06 points, an increase of 0.98%, at 5995.40 points;

The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened up 159.42 points, an increase of 0.37%, at 43312.55 points;

The Nasdaq Composite Index opened up 317.26 points, an increase of 1.64%, at 19655.55 points.

Weight loss drug concept stock Novo Nordisk ADR fell 3.8%, while AnaptysBio rose 9.8%.

Intel rose 7.7%, Palantir rose 2.4%, NVIDIA, Amazon, Tesla, Meta, Microsoft, and Apple rose over 1%, while TSMC ADR fell 0.2%. Bitcoin holder MicroStrategy rose 4.3%, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase rose over 3%, quantum computing concept stock Rigetti Computing fell 6.6%, and Quantum Corporation fell 8%.

Chinese concept stock JD.com rose 5.5%, Bilibili, Li Auto, and Pinduoduo rose over 1%, and the FTSE China 3x Long ETF rose 1.6%
