Recently, Tesla Autopilot senior software engineer Phil Duan responded to user doubts about Tesla's FSD technology, suggesting that the company has made significant progress in this area. A long-term Tesla stockholder, James Wang, stated on social media that Tesla's FSD technology is "at least 100 times behind" Waymo, and claimed that he would be "shocked and delighted" if Tesla could reach Waymo's safety level without changing hardware. In response, Phil Duan stated that Wang should "be prepared to be shocked."
