
Netflix BTS reunion live attracted 18.4 million viewers
Netflix (NFLX.US) announced on Tuesday that the South Korean boy band BTS's return live show "BTS The Comeback Live|ARIRANG" recorded 18.4 million viewers globally, demonstrating strong demand for live programs driven by top artists.
The 60-minute program was held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, marking BTS's first complete performance since the end of 2022, and it became the number one show in viewership across 24 countries.
In recent years, Netflix has been ramping up its development of live content to enhance its competitiveness, including sports and major events. The platform previously live-streamed Alex Honnold's climb of Taipei 101, attracting approximately 6.2 million viewers
