The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose 1.7% in the morning session, reporting 26,215 points, with a turnover of HKD 107.6 billion. According to Zhitong Finance APP, the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose by 1.7%, up 438 points, closing at 26,215 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 2.86%. The turnover of Hong Kong stocks in the morning session reached HKD 107.6 billion.

Chip stocks led the gains. ILUVATAR COREX (09903) rose over 15%, as domestic computing chip companies entered a critical period for performance realization. Montage Technology (06809) rose by 3%; Bairun Technology (06082) increased by 4%.

A research report released by Shanxi Securities shows that the optical communication industry is experiencing strong catalysts due to the reflective effect of high prosperity in overseas industrial chains. Xizhi Technology-P (01879) rose over 20%; Cambridge Technology (06166) increased by over 14%.

Weichai Power (02338) rose over 12%, reaching a new high, with first-quarter data center product sales increasing by over 240% year-on-year.

XIAOMI-W (01810) rose over 8%, leading blue chips, with Xiaomi Auto's April delivery exceeding 30,000 units, and orders for the new generation SU7 surpassing 70,000.
