YOFC's stock price rose over 4%. Influenced by Corning's and Amazon's signing of a multi-billion dollar fiber supply agreement and previous collaboration with NVIDIA, the market is focused on the industry's incremental space brought by fiber exports and AI data center demand. Guosheng Securities pointed out that the fiber optic industry is undergoing a reconstruction of the prosperity cycle, with a surge in demand for specialty fibers, and downstream passive components are expected to see both volume and price increases

According to Zhitong Finance APP, YOFC (06869) rose over 4%, with a current increase of 4.27%, priced at HKD 244.2, and a trading volume of HKD 1.903 billion.

On the news front, on June 8 local time, Amazon announced a multi-billion dollar agreement with glass and fiber optic technology manufacturer Corning to supply fiber optics, cables, and connectivity solutions to support Amazon's expanding data center infrastructure across the United States. In May, Corning signed a major contract with AI leader NVIDIA. Corning will establish three new factories in North Carolina and Texas specifically to provide optical products for the computing power leader. At that time, both parties stated that Corning would increase its domestic optical connectivity product manufacturing capacity in the U.S. to ten times the original level and expand U.S. fiber optic production capacity by over 50%.

Guosheng Securities believes that the fiber optic cable industry is experiencing a different economic cycle than before. Unlike the traditional cycle dominated by operator procurement, the long-term growth logic of fiber optics and cables in this cycle is continuously strengthening, leading to a systematic reconstruction of the industry's valuation system. On one hand, the acceleration of fiber optic exports opens up long-term incremental space; on the other hand, the high-density interconnection of AI data centers is driving a surge in demand for specialty fiber optics, shifting fiber optics from bulk standard products to high-value customized categories, significantly increasing unit value. Downstream MPO and Shuffle Box, as key passive devices for achieving high-density fiber interconnection in the AI era, are expected to see a simultaneous increase in both volume and price
