The NASDAQ Golden Dragon China Index initially closed down 1.8%. Among popular Chinese stocks, Baidu initially closed down about 4%, NIO and XPeng fell more than 3%, ASE Technology Holding dropped 2.7%, NetEase fell 1.9%, Tencent declined 1.8%, Alibaba dropped 1.5%, Meituan rose 1.6%, Xiaomi gained 2.7%, and BYD advanced 3.1%. In ETFs, CQQQ fell 5.2% and KWEB dropped 0.6%.
