<p>事实上，整这么一个大家伙，是马斯克旗下 SpaceX 为星舰<strong>首次轨道试飞</strong>所做的准备。</p>

<p>此前，马斯克为火星移民打造的星舰在经历了数次爆炸之后，终于在去年 8 月完成了一次成功的试飞。</p>
<p>不过，当时 SN5 飞船原型机完成的，是低空 “起跳” 试验。也就是点火后只飞到<strong>150 米</strong>的高度上，停留 1 分钟左右。</p>

<p>而去年 12 月升空的 SN8，则飞到了 12.5 千米的高度，不过该原型机在返回地球时发生了爆炸。</p>
<p>今年 5 月，SpaceX 透露了有关星舰首次轨道飞行的计划。</p>
<p>按照计划，火箭将在 Boca Chica 发射场发射。在二级火箭分离之前，被命名为 BN4 的超重型助推器会点火 169 秒，此后在距离发射场约 32 千米的墨西哥湾坠落。</p>
<p>而星舰则将继续旅程，进入地球轨道。</p>

<p>不过，在成为史上最强大运载火箭之前，SpaceX 仍需要对该系统进行地面测试，包括添加燃料、增压和静态点火。</p>
<p>此外，美国联邦航空管理局目前正在准备对这一系统的环境审查。</p>
<p>但该项目的不确定性并没有延缓马斯克的脚步，据 NASASpaceflight 报道，最近几周，SpaceX 从全美调集了数百名工人赶赴德克萨斯州，以加快该项目的进程。</p>
<p>外媒 gizmodo 评论称，SpaceX 之所以摆出紧锣密鼓加紧干的架势，与其被 NASA 选中建造月球着陆器一事不无关系。</p>
