Huawei, on the other hand, saw a 24% increase in shipments, reaching 12.9 million units and tying with Apple for the top market share. In response to the rising competition from domestic brands, Apple adopted price reduction promotions and enhanced its competitive edge through improved retail experiences, trade-in programs, and expanded interest-free installment plans.
