
TSMC is set to mass-produce 2nm chips at 30,000 wafers per month (wpm) by year-end, with customers lined up to place orders at a rumored US$30,000 per wafer, DigiTimes reports. Fab 20 in Hsinchu has ramped up from 3,000 wpm in mid-2024 to 8,000 wpm and aims for 22,000 wpm by end-2025.
