
TSMC on Tuesday (4/1) began to install production lines at its AP8 ‘super large’ advanced semiconductor packaging plant in the Tainan Science Park key to doubling CoWoS capacity this year, media report, adding AP8 is a factory bought from LCD panel maker Innolux that TSMC has converted for chip packaging over the past several months.
