
India has approved a 37.06 billion rupees (US$435 million) semiconductor plant by HCL Group and Taiwan’s Foxconn in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh designed to manufacture 20,000 wafers per month, or 36 million display driver chips (DDICs), media report, adding it will be operational by 2027. #India #Taiwan #HCLgroup #Foxconn #semiconductors #semiconductor
