
Global Unichip (GUC), the Taiwan custom ASIC chip designer, saw December revenue soar 75.7% year-on-year to NT$4.75 billion as chips from AI ASIC customers have moved into mass production from the design phase, media report, adding one project, Google’s Axion CPU (TSMC 3nm) has begun shipping. GUC’s 4th quarter revenue rose 105.9% to NT$12.4 billion, also up 44% over Q3.
