
ASE subsidiary SPIL showed off its biggest advanced semiconductor packaging plant project over the weekend, an NT$100 billion (US$3.2 billion), 5-plant campus in Changhwa, central Taiwan, media report, noting all 5 plants are expected to be fully operational in 2027. Two plants are currently in production, with over 3,000 workers.
