Going into earnings, the stock had been squeezed hard, sentiment flipped bullish fast, and a lot of good news was already priced in. When results didn’t fully justify that optimism, the move unraveled quickly. That’s similar to what we’re seeing with AMD now. Different fundamentals, same market behavior: expectations got crowded, earnings became the reality check, and price reset. It’s less about bad numbers and more about too much hype.
