Nvidia’s deal for a new Taipei headquarters is expected to be signed before the Chinese New Year holiday begins Feb. 15, with Taipei to grant Nvidia a 50+20-year lease for around NT$12 billion (US$380M), media report, citing Deputy Mayor Lee Shu-Chuan, who said the land surface rights have been decided, but a few steps remain, including price negotiations. The 50-year lease is meant to encourage Nvidia to hire engineers for 2-generations, with a clause for a 20-year extension if desired. $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US) #Foxconn #Wistron #Quanta #semiconductors #AIservers
