Rate Of ReturnWith inflation showing signs of cooling and the jobs market weakening, I think the Fed has more room to become less restrictive. If rate expectations and real yields continue to move lower, that could create a more supportive environment for precious metals like gold and silver.
But I wouldn’t blindly chase the move. I like to use macro to decide what I want to trade, and technicals to decide when I want to trade it. I’ll be watching levels like previous support and breakout zones to find areas where the risk-to-reward makes more sense.
This is also where I think DLCs can be useful. If my macro view, technical setup and entry all align, I can use a Long or Short DLC to express that short-term view with leverage.
