
Turkey's auto market saw a 16.4% year-on-year decline in July sales, with cumulative sales reaching 672,000 units, up 0.5% year-on-year.
Chery performed outstandingly, with sales up 32% year-on-year, capturing a 7.1% market share and ranking fifth. BYD and Leapmotor had relatively smaller sales volumes.
Fiat and Volkswagen saw sales declines, while Toyota and Renault bucked the trend with growth. The Fiat Egea led the model rankings with a 6.9% market share, while the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Omoda 5 stood out, showcasing the competitiveness of Chinese brands in the Turkish market.
