Due to a collision accident, the United States is investigating the FSD software of Tesla in over 2.4 million vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) launched an investigation into Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) software on October 17, involving 2.41 million vehicles. The investigation was initiated following reports that the FSD feature led to collisions resulting in injuries and fatalities in low visibility conditions. The investigation will assess the engineering controls and response capabilities of FSD under low visibility conditions. The affected models include the Model X and Model S from 2016-2024, the Model 3 from 2017-2024, and the Model Y from 2020-2024
