Musk's AI startup xAI announced the completion of a $6 billion Series C funding round, with the company's valuation exceeding $40 billion. The raised funds will primarily be used to strengthen AI products and infrastructure development, such as plans to expand the existing 100,000 NVIDIA GPU supercomputer Colossus to 200,000 units, all equipped with the latest H200 models, significantly boosting computing power and laying the foundation for future technological breakthroughs.

Ninety-seven investors, including BlackRock, A16Z, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Fidelity, Sequoia Capital, NVIDIA, Morgan Stanley, and the Oman Investment Authority, participated in this funding round. Among them, NVIDIA, as a key enabler of AI hardware, provides high-performance GPUs that power xAI's large-scale AI model training.
