$XTALPI(02228.HK) Can Jingtai remove the "P"?
First, let's look at the requirements: A "commercialized company" refers to a company whose specialized technology products have achieved meaningful commercialization, with revenue reaching at least HKD 250 million in the most recent fiscal year. In other words, if Jingtai's revenue exceeds HKD 250 million in the 2024 fiscal year, it can remove the "P" label.
On February 17 this year, Jingtai Holdings-P (02228) issued an announcement:
It is expected that the revenue generated from providing drug discovery solutions and intelligent automation solutions for the year ending December 31, 2024, will reach HKD 250 million. This expected revenue growth is mainly attributed to the company's strong performance in business development and market opportunities. The revenue figures mentioned in the announcement are based on preliminary assessments by the company's management and have not been audited; actual results may differ.
Additionally, the announcement noted that, as of now, the company is still considered a non-commercialized company. If the Hong Kong Stock Exchange notifies the company in the future that it is no longer considered non-commercialized, Jingtai Holdings will issue further announcements in due course. Investors should exercise caution when trading the company's securities and pay attention to future performance releases.

So, it is highly likely that the "P" can be removed.
