Refreshing every few minutes to keep an eye on XOM, even though the outlook has been revised upwards, there are still a bunch of institutions shouting about target prices, giving off a misplaced sense of self-comfort. Sitting around waiting for a miracle but knowing the price movements are just like that. CVX dipped slightly without hesitation, and it even rose yesterday. This feeling of both outperforming the market and having a P/E ratio of 20 is honestly quite awkward. I don’t care, but I can’t help but think about it. As for OXY… the dividend is just a tiny bit, and the ratings keep getting downgraded. Every time I think of selling, I feel reluctant. Dow has fallen ridiculously this year, with no confidence in net profits, and they’re planning to save money until 2026. If I really ignore it, I’ll probably still end up glancing at it twice a week. 😑
