$Intel(INTC.US) I spent the weekend researching SambaNova's RDU, a hardware that is more versatile than Broadcom's ASIC and more powerful than GPU, somewhat like an AI version of FPGA, with pre-set operator circuits, directly building AI large models on the chip, and then just inputting and outputting data streams. Intel once acquired Altera for heterogeneous computing, but of course, it didn't work out in the end. This time, Intel's AI computing power for inference, given its nasty character, is hard to say.
