CNOOC Limited Starts Production at Xijiang 24 Block Oilfield
CNOOC Limited has started production at the Xijiang 24 Block Oilfield in the Pearl River Mouth Basin. The project uses existing facilities and a new unmanned wellhead platform, with plans for 10 development wells and an expected production of 18,000 barrels per day by 2026. The Xijiang 24-7 platform is China's first unmanned offshore platform for high-temperature fluid cooling and export. CNOOC holds 100% interest in the project.
