A year's profit was squandered in just a week, and today marks the official start of losing principal. 😐

The market indeed offers limitless opportunities. Prices that once seemed out of reach are now everywhere: NVIDIA at 170, Microsoft at 400, AMD at 190, Oracle at 140, Broadcom at 310, Tesla at 390, Amazon at 220... too many to count. Unfortunately, I don’t have unlimited funds.

People often overestimate difficulties during downturns and underestimate risks during peaks. I still lack some reverence for the market and underestimated the magnitude of this pullback, second only to the tariff crash. Poor position management and cash allocation have left me fully invested and at the mercy of the market, staring helplessly at tempting opportunities.

There’s no such thing as experience—only lessons learned the hard way. Experience is the best teacher, so I’ll strive to do better next time. For now, all I can do is wait patiently. Although I bought the dip halfway up the mountain, I believe my cost basis isn’t high, and these are solid stocks. I trust that enduring this period will eventually pay off.

Investing is a marathon. A few hundred meters of gains or losses at this stage don’t matter much. Stay optimistic—it’s not just reality, it’s a choice. Keep going. 😎
