Buffett's junior apprenticeThe company's AI coding great leap forward, it's only been a month after the New Year, but it feels like it's been a long time, a bit disoriented.
AI is supposed to improve efficiency, but everyone feels more competitive and busier, wtf?
- Adapting to new tools and new models every day, AI tools updating daily is insane, what you just learned yesterday has a more advanced solution the next day
- With AI, work boundaries within the same team are more blurred, everyone's tasks can be done by others
- With AI, everything wants to be redone with AI, there's no more dirty or hard work
- Training AI has no end, going from 0-80 is easy, 80-85 is extremely difficult, requires huge investment, and ROI plummets
AI is powerful, the more you use it, the clearer you see the trends for at least the next year
1. Large companies outsourcing layoffs, almost no suspense, I guess at most 3 months, can't survive Q1
2. Formal employee downsizing, under AI coding, the further downstream in R&D, the greater the pressure, resignation rates will increase, such as quality teams, operations teams
3. Blurred boundaries, career floating upwards, originally development, delivery, testing, may gradually require self-responsibility for testing and launch, downstream is gradually being consumed. Simple systems, maybe product is responsible, R&D is consumed
4. Job role integration, no need to say more, inevitable
5. AI strongly tied to recruitment interviews, performance assessment, already happening at some companies, after all, the company spent money buying cards and tokens…
6. Organizational structure streamlining, multi-level structures will inevitably be impacted, large companies' decision-making chains are too long, unable to adapt to AI's rapid iteration and trial-and-error demands
7. Large companies internally support vibe coding, the company provides resources, if successful, the company takes it over and shares profits with you, internal mass entrepreneurship
8. Company business territory expands, things that previously relied on suppliers in the business chain can now be taken over and done in-house, market competition intensifies
All of this sums up to one sentence: everything is adapting to AI, systems, people, organizations alike…
As an individual, the impact of AI in this era is unavoidable. Since it can't be avoided, might as well enjoy it, dance with the tide of the times. After all, you can't give up just because everyone is born and ends in death, just enjoy the process itself.
Investment is probably the same. March circle had such big fluctuations, got beaten black and blue this month 🥺 Facing huge volatility, my mindset seems to have improved a bit compared to before, not too many ripples (maybe the cost basis isn't high 😂), this also counts as growth… right?! Hahaha, whatever the result, let it go with the market.
Everything adapts to AI, certainty 100%, crypto is no exception, that's all, nothing else. Not investment advice.
Respect the market, dance with volatility 🙂
