"E Fund Global Series" is also incredibly strong
Last night, while checking the net asset values, I noticed that three funds from E Fund had quite strong gains, and all had either reached new highs or were close to new highs. Since these three funds are all QDII funds, the gains weren't from yesterday's market but rather from the global market performance the day before. Yesterday was the first day of the temporary US-Iran ceasefire, so overseas markets saw significant gains, especially US tech stocks and Japanese and Korean stock markets.
Let me briefly explain the differences between these three funds:
E Fund Global Allocation primarily focuses on global asset allocation, currently with a heavy emphasis on US stocks and US bonds.
E Fund Global Quality Enterprise can be seen as an actively managed fund that tracks the MSCI World Index. US stocks account for about 60%, with the remaining 40% or so in non-US markets.
As for E Fund Global Growth Select, it mainly selects tech stocks from both China and the US, currently with a significant allocation in the US optical communications sector. It also handles the switching between the Chinese and US markets relatively smoothly.
Currently, these three funds are actually allocated in the "Biao Jiu" and "Biao Jiang" series of investment advisors from Guolian Minsheng that I follow. They are mainly configured in "Biao Jiu Global," "Biao Jiu Fixed Income Plus Select," and "Biao Jiang Active Alpha."
For example, "Biao Jiu Fixed Income Plus Select" still managed to achieve positive returns yesterday despite the market's significant decline, thanks to the allocation of QDII funds like E Fund Global Allocation and E Fund Global Quality Enterprise within the portfolio.
However, among these three products, only E Fund Global Quality Enterprise still has a relatively high daily subscription quota of 10,000 yuan. The other two have quotas of only 1,000 yuan (E Fund Global Allocation) and 50 yuan (E Fund Global Growth Select), respectively. We'll see if the quota limits for these products improve slightly after the recent approval of new QD quotas.
