$NIO Inc(NIO.US) had a second test drive of the ES9 today. The car is huge, drives well with no obvious boat-like feeling, and the steer-by-wire system is easy to get used to. The SkyRide chassis is indeed much better at absorbing bumps than my ES6. The 5D cinema cabin also has more movies to watch. The standard chassis (the base model) can be delivered in 3 weeks, while the SkyRide chassis costs 60,000 more and won't be delivered until November. It's said that over 50,000 firm orders have been placed (unverified).
