$SpaceX(SPCX.US) This cost-irresponsible pulse buying has proven that short sellers are panicking. On Monday, you'll find there's no end to the buying... then continuing the pulse, continuing sideways movement, continuing to trigger short squeezes, with short interest continuing to pulse until around 200. On Monday morning, brokerages will call short sellers, and the pulse will continue at market open... triggering a second wave of short liquidations. Honestly, holding short positions over the weekend is extremely painful. This violent spike to $149+ during Friday's trading session has already eaten up the margin for the vast majority of small and medium-sized shorts, pushing them below warning lines.
Brokerage risk management systems (RMS) calculate risks over the weekend and issue final ultimatums before Monday's market open. If short sellers cannot cover the huge margin calls, they will be forcibly liquidated at market price when the market opens on Monday.
