
South Korea raised its semiconductor industry support to ₩33 trillion won (US$23.17 billion) from the ₩26 trillion announced last June as it seeks to help domestic chip makers weather “an intensifying global trade war," said Finance Minister Sang-mok Choi, media report, adding ₩4 trillion of that is expected to be spent by 2026.
