Will these Hong Kong stocks be included in the Stock Connect soon? Is it due to their strength or 'money power'? Plus the scoop on Honsi Aite.

After the new regulations, a bunch of new stocks without fundamentals entered the Stock Connect through Mechanism B and market manipulation.
Due to the crazy bull market in Hong Kong IPOs from August to November, anything could rise with eyes closed, so based on issuance factors and market conditions, I basically gave 4 stars, while some (mostly A+H shares) got 3 stars.
Honestly, these ratings were given against my conscience.
Now, as the year-end review in December approaches, let’s see which new and old Hong Kong stocks are about to enter the Stock Connect and reassess their ratings—just based on fundamentals—to see if they’re donkeys or horses.
(Data as of December 19)
You can see that many new stocks previously rated 4 stars are only 2 stars this time—feels good.
This list is an overview of stocks entering the Connect. Check if any of these upcoming Connect stocks are ones you’ve subscribed to—losing less is winning. As for the Stock Connect strategy, this isn’t it yet. The Stock Connect strategy includes not just fundamental analysis but also shareholding structure, major shareholder ratios, statistical analysis, etc. It’s still being optimized and is expected to launch next year.
Note: The above ratings are not investment advice in any form. The stock market carries risks; invest with caution.
Lastly, some gossip: The Hansi Ai Thailand placement has been buzzing in IPO circles, with rumors of a big influencer leading followers to take the placement and suffering heavy losses.
I only saw a PDF and don’t know the truth, so I won’t comment much. But we’ve long said that placements are high-risk, high-reward, which is why our Dahongpao team assessed the risks as too high and didn’t take it.
Fortunately, we’re relatively cautious about placement decisions. So far, the placements we’ve taken—InnoBio, Geek+, Sanhua, Lens Technology, and Tianyue Advanced—have all exited without losses.
If any future placements lose money, please go easy on me, bosses—don’t call me out.
